Glass Workshops

Bob’s  powder/crackle workshops are held in his fully equipped, spacious, state-of-the-art studio on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, Canada. Salt Spring is known as one of North America’s best small arts communities (for the population, there is a very large number of performing and visual artists). It is located in the Gulf Islands off the west coast of British Columbia, between Vancouver and Victoria.

Bob continues to teach two distinct workshops from his home-based studio: Studies in Powder (Colour, Components, and Crackle!) and Further
Studies in Powder
(Pushing the Limits!) (See descriptions below.)

There is room for six participants per workshop, ensuring that everyone receives individual attention while learning the powder crackle techniques – participants are signed up in the order e-mails are received.

The cost of each workshop is $975 CAD, with a $450 CAD deposit due one month after signing up for the workshop and the balance of $525 CAD due one month before the workshop starts. The deposit is non-refundable, unless we can find a replacement for you.

The fee covers instruction, all supplies, and daily home-made lunches prepared (as much as possible) with locally grown, fresh, organic ingredients.
